I recently reread one of my all time favorite novels, The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett. Then, yesterday, while in Barnes and Noble, I saw a display advertising the Pillars of the Earth miniseries starting July 24. What a coincidence! This is such good news and the book will make a fabulous movie. More info at this Pillars of the Earth site.

Okay, so I just started The Pillars of the Earth and I am so not into it... does it get better?! Do I stick it out. I mean, nine-hundred-and-eighty-some-pages stick it out?!
