A good friend of mine told me about the Grocery Game, so I tried it today for the first time. I've never really been a coupon clipping kind of girl, but if it is going to free up some cash to buy clothes and other fun stuff, then I'm all for it. I've been clipping coupons for a few weeks now and today was my first trip to Publix using the list. Its a whole new way of shopping and will take a little getting used to. It remains to be seen how it will work for us, but I know that today the bottom of my receipt said that I saved over $30 dollars, which is more than I usually save at Publix. I'm going to keep it up and see if it makes a difference and I'll keep you updated on my progress.
