An Apple A Day


Last week's detox diet went pretty well until the weekend rolled around, so I really only completed 5 days. I was starting to feel thinner, but then we went to the lake all day on Saturday and I didn't take enough fruit and veggies. On the way home, I was starving and ate Wendy's, so I'm back to being a total fat a$$.

The latest diet/health thing I'm doing is Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar. I first became interested in ACV after reading about it on the Gigi Goes Shopping blog and then ran across it again in the Fat Flush Diet book that my neighbor found. You are supposed to drink the ACV cocktail two or three times a day. First, we tried mixing it with water and stevia but it was nasty. Its not as bad with just water, but kind of makes your face pucker up. Click the above links to read more about the benefits of ACV. You can't just buy any old apple cider vinegar like the Heinz you probably have in your pantry. It has to be organic with "the mother," whatever that is. You can buy Bragg, which is supposed to be the best, at Whole Foods.
