So one thing that has kept me from blogging the last few months was my job as Fundraising Co-chair for the Children's Arts Guild. Each year a fashion show is held in the spring to benefit the Children's Dance Foundation and its Community Partnership Program. Members' children appear in the show wearing cute spring ensembles selected by the parents. All our our hard work came to fruition yesterday. Not sure yet exactly how much money we raised, but we at least met last years contribution of $44,000. We had a wonderful lunch while watching the precious kids and I was so proud to see my girls walk down the runway in their adorable cherry dresses. I am still shocked that Claudia actually did it, because she was really fussy and clingy when I left her backstage. I didn't get many good pictures because I was so busy watching them!
